Why do women have hymens? What are thay for? Do men have hymens too?

The understanding I am allowed to have concerning this topic is that the hymen is the marriage covenant established WITHIN the female body.
Female joining with a male, this male is now her "husband" until "death do they part".
Men do not have a hymen.

The reason why we have a hymen is that when we were forming prenatally, the vagina had NO opening at all. That's why some women barely even have a hymen-- because back when they were forming, their membrane separated more than other women's did. And that's why there's a variation of hymens and what kind of opening each one has.
